What Do We Do?
Service Professionals
Modern Pest Service Professionals go the extra mile and inspect every inch of a home or business for pests. Service Professionals are equipped with the knowledge and the tools to identify and treat the problem until it is resolved. Helping the community stay safe and healthy is a huge part of what drives the Modern team.
Technical and Training Teams
Members of Modern’s Technical and Training Team use their entomology expertise to help solve pest questions and to train new and existing employees.
Wildlife Technicians
A Modern Pest Wildlife Technician works with both commercial and residential clients helping with trapping, exclusion, and remediation caused by nuisance wildlife animals.
Modern Pest’s fleet of trucks and vans allow employees to be fully stocked and supplied at all their appointments.
Accounting, Finance and Administration Teams
The accounting, finance, and administration teams at Modern Pest keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes. They are located in our corporate office in Brunswick, Maine.
Client Care Professionals
A Client Care Professional is part of the Modern Pest Communications Center. They are the friendly voice of Modern and communicate with clients and branch managers to make sure services go smoothly.
Inside Sales Representatives
The Inside Sales Representatives at Modern field incoming sales calls and reach out to potential clients. They help people decide what service best suits their pest control needs.

Health Benefits
Easy as 1, 2, 3! All full-time team members are eligible for benefits and will have one (1) vision plan, two (2) dental plans, and three (3) medical plans to choose from. Team members are eligible for benefits effective the first month after hire, and to top if off, Modern Pest pays at least 65% of medical benefit costs!
Retirement/401(k)
New hires are eligible to contribute to the Modern 401(k) plan on the first of the month after hire. Team members have the option to enroll in a traditional 401(k) or a Roth 401(k) plan; no matter the plan, Modern Pest offers a match of up to 4%! Want to change your contribution? No problem! Make a change anytime.
Employer Paid Benefits
Modern Pest is proud to support our team by offering a basic life insurance policy (valued at 1x your annual salary), as well as a short-term disability (STD) plan for all team members. Both of these benefits are 100% employer paid for full-time team members and are effective the first of the month after hire.
Paid Time Off
At Modern Pest, we value a work/life balance. PTO eligibility for full-time team members starts at 80 hours annually (pro-rated for mid-year starts), with accrual increasing based on tenure. We also celebrate eight (8) paid holidays annually.
